Sally Anne Hart, MP for Rye and Hastings has been pressing for ministers to confirm HS1 to Hastings.

MLAG supports HS1 coming to Hastings and Rye, but we have been discussing this for years and Amber Rudd, our previous MP convened several high powered rail summits which promised action but have delivered very little. Still we can only hope for the best and lend our support to organisations pushing for this investment. However this Modern Railways cover is from 2014, when an HS1 train was photographed at Hastings, not sure how it got there!
