The ticket hall at Rye Station has been enhanced by the appearance of several interesting colourful posters publicising the Rye Museum and its contents. The Posters were designed by Sarah Cooper from the Museum to publicise the 90th anniversary of the Rye Museum this year.
This display has been made possible by the work of Kevin Barry and the East Sussex Rail Partnership together with Southern. In particular Southern have paid for the printing and installation of the posters which they will later donate to the Museum. It is anticipated that the Museum will benefit from an influx of visitors and the exhibition follows on others, notably one showing the Captain Pugwash characters held recently. It is great to see good use being made of the wall space in the Waiting Hall to brighten up our journeys and our thanks to all concerned.
